Here’s an example of a fiddle style melody which utilizes elements of both major pentatonic scales. The use of open strings combined with alternated right-hand fingerings provide smooth transitions which can be brought up to fast bluegrass tempos. The variations of this type of playing are endless especially with the integration of non-scale notes.
